Recital Information

Our shows will be at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at C.W. Post College. Please be sure you and your guests are on time to insure a prompt start time. Please check www.tillescenter.org for directions.

For all dress rehearsals: All students must come in their costume with their make-up on and be ready to perform. This will be the final run-through before the recital. At this time, you will be allowed to photograph and videotape your child. There will be NO videotaping or photography at the show. This will be strictly enforced. It is distracting to the people around you as well as dangerous to the performers. PARENTS only will be permitted to the dress rehearsal. For the safety of your children, please do not bring additional people. They will be asked to leave. The dress rehearsal must run smoothly so we must limit that amount of people in the auditorium. Please no food or drinks. PLEASE BE PROMPT!

For all performances: All students must come dressed with make-up on and ready to perform. We must ask that all students arrive 45 minutes before the performance time. All students will be well supervised in rooms back stage. No students will be permitted in the lobby area at anytime (including intermission). For your child's safety, this will be strictly enforced. The only students that will be dismissed at intermission are the Pre-K Ballet I & Pre-K Ballet II classes. All other students will be dismissed by class, after the show. NO ONE ELSE WILL BE DISMISSED EARLY!!! Do not ask if you can take your child early or ask any volunteer or employee to remove your child. PLEASE DO NOT PUT US IN THAT POSITION!!! This rule is strictly enforced for the safety of the children. Please do not send your child with any food or drinks. It will be confiscated. We have many small children with food allergies who may not know what they are allowed to eat. We provide water for the children backstage. Flower bouquets and gifts will be sold at each performance for your convenience. Recital T-Shirts will be sold by order only. They will not be sold at the recital. The order forms will be available shortly.

If you are dropping off your child for any of these performances, please give us your name so we can keep your child until you arrive. For your child's safety and to keep the recital running smoothly and timely, we must ask that all of our rules be adhered to.
